The next month of October will see an intense program of celebrations and prayers to our Lady, to implore Her intercession for world’s peace.
The 2025 World Rosary Day constitutes a relevant moment of that month-long effort, taking place on the official feast of “Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary” (Oct. 7th), with the same intention and in veneration of Her title of Regina Pacis, as it was announced on July 25th , 2025

The Pope has requested that all Catholics pray the Rosary daily during October: «I invite everyone, each day of the coming month, to pray the Rosary for peace—personally, in the family, and in community».
On October 11-12, the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality will be celebrated in Rome, open to all Marian associations and individual pilgrims. The original statue of Our Lady of Fatima will travel to St. Peter’s Basilica for the celebration, for the fourth time, as the Vatican announced:
“The first time was in 1984, for the Extraordinary Jubilee of Redemption, when on March 25, Pope St. John Paul II consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The second time was during the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000 and the third was in October 2013, for the Year of Faith with Pope Francis.”
The Pope will lead a Rosary on the evening of Saturday Oct. 11th in St. Peter’s Square, followed by a night vigil at St. Mary Major Basilica (where Rome’s inaugural WRD was led by Cardinal Mackrikas), and the solemn Papal Mass in St. Peter’s Square the following morning.
The Pope further invited all Vatican employees to pray the Rosary daily in St. Peter’s Basilica at 7:00 PM throughout October; exactly the chosen time of the WRD.
Our hearts can be filled with great joy (1Pt 8) to have, in our way, contributed to starting this season of Marian worship which began with the Holy Year of Hope.
